The staff were helpful, astonishing me with a complimentary coffee upon arrival. The breakfasts offered a diverse spread from warm to cold options, which really fueled my adventures. The location felt secure and was just a short stroll from several tram stops.
loud sounds from the streets could bother light sleepers.

The private bathroom was very clean, roomy and nice. Breakfast was very good. Beds are comfortable.
Difficult to get to using city road system (more a reflection on Prague's roads, not the hotel). Room was rather small with a tiny TV.

Good location - not far away from the Center; nice breakfast and very friendly hotel staff.
No a/c and very smoky room.

The room was impeccably clean, silent and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Everything was nice, including light and excellent breakfasts with potatoes and fresh fruit, as for instance.

The location was convenient. The stay was marred by a musty smell in the room and the uncomfortable setup of two single beds. The minibar deposit felt unwarranted and the breakfast offerings were disappointingly basic, with subpar products sourced from a local store. A more inviting atmosphere and attention to cleanliness would significantly enhance the experience.

The newly renovated rooms are clean and modern. The location is excellent: ten or 15 minutes walk to major bus, railway and metro stations.
The breakfast time is too late. We moved to this hotel, which is close to the bus depot after several days stay at another hotel on the other side of the river bank, because we wanted to make day-bus trips to Cesky Krumlov and other cities south of Prague. We went to the dining hall at 7:00 and surprisingly found it locked. Then we decided to grab a loaf of bread and banana and run, as soon as the dining hall opened at 7:30, but we were stopped by a strict-faced lady and told not to take any food out. So we had choice to travel several hours on bus with empty stomach or miss one bus. We chose the latter. Thus we would have been better-off, if we had stayed at the the same hotel. Another thing future guests should know about this hotel is that TV does not have English channel except one sport channel. All we could find were German, Czech and Russian channels, although it did not matter with us. The hotel provides free WiFi, but the router seems to be overloaded and the internet connection goes on and off. The wire connection, which we did not know until the last day, would be better.

Awesome vibes and friendly staff
I stayed here for 7 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is cool, close to the Andel metro, made getting around super easy. The bar/lounge area was perfect for winding down after a day out. The only thing was that the air conditioning was bit noisy at times. Still, it was all good!

Breakfast was plentiful with good variety
The beds were extremely uncomfortable here. You could literally feel all of the springs in the mattress, and when I asked the hotel if there was anything that could be done about it, I was told that this was the standard for a 3 star hotel. Really? It's standard in a 3 star hotel to feel all the springs in your mattress? I obviously booked this hotel not expecting luxury considering the price, but at a minimum, I expect to be able to sleep relatively comfortably through the night. They did change out my mattress, but again, they just replaced it with another mattress that was extremely thin that you could feel the springs in (the mattress looked like it was only about 6-7 inches thick). There were several other hotels in that same area. I would at least check to see what their beds are like before booking.

Very spacious and comfortable rooms (with on-floor airconditioner). Very useful parking inside with a roof. Friendly staff (Russian speaking). Location is not bad, on foot trip for almost everywhere, or tram and metro just 5-7 min to go. Very good value for money.
Breakfast is plain. Coffee caps is for tea (blue, yellow, green and so on)

The location of Augustus is excellent, just a short walk to many of the key attractions in Prague. The room itself felt decent, clean enough to settle in. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, made washing up a pleasure. Breakfast had a nice array of hot and cold choices, keeping my mornings varied. The noise from nearby events did sometimes disrupt my peace, especially during the night. The door lock posed a constant challenge. I often had to jiggle the key just right to get it to work, frustrating. While there were highlights like the comfort of the beds and cleanliness, the disturbances and issues with the door lock could use addressing. Still, I found the value quite reasonable for the experience provided.
